What is to Love all and the art of being yourself? Is it so difficult to love people around you? Ask yourself, and if you get an answer as yes then I think you should look at yourself first and ask that why do people love you? Is there anything special in you or is it just the way you are and that people have accepted the same way? I am sure you would understand then, how it feels to be loved by someone who does not judge you for who you are, whether you’re fat, dark, skinny, having scars, or even physically challenged. God has given you an inner beauty which you love it so why not love the other inner beauties too, how much does it take to just accept the other person rather than criticizing him/her?
Racism
People feel low and demotivated when they have been criticized due to their caste, color, or creed. Their morale goes down to zero even if they are smarter by brains than the others who think they are perfect. We see many people who are talented or capable of doing things which the fair looked guy or high society individuals cannot do. This is not a criticism to the high society people or the ones who are fair like the Hollywood actors, this is just for those who feel superior enough to have let the others feel complicated of even living on this earth. They are bullied to an extent that they do not even like moving out of the house or study in schools. Moreover, even the relatives don’t understand or accept that family member. Mockery becomes the limelight of any gathering that takes place in the house. Out of two or five kids if one is dark, what is wrong? It was not his choice to born with that complexion. And it is simply a color, if that would matter so much in a bad way then why would people call it as “black beauty,” because it is indeed a beauty which people would not like to digest or accept. By this way you are only showing what you are but also not letting that person develop self-confidence in him.
Consider yourself to be the most beautiful or handsome person today and ten years later when you wake up one day finding out that your skin has gone dark, what would you do? Would you stop loving yourself or think of being strong and walk away with pride of being blessed that you are still alive this morning? How can you be sure that what you are criticizing today cannot be your tomorrow? What if you fall somewhere and get scars which can never fade? All these walls that keeps us away from loving each other as one family or one race, whatever class one belongs to- what makes us so selfish and prideful, what keeps us from wanting to help the next man, what makes us so focused on a personal legacy when compared to the entire legacy of a race.
Being Yourself
This blog is also for those who lack in their confidence and let the remarks of other people sink in. Whatever you are born with is a gift given by God, no one can change that or do any kind of plastic surgeries with it. It will be mere plastic and not real and I am sure you would like to show your actual self than anything made up. Why bother of people around you and spoil the inner beauty that you possess, is it worth it or is it just that you are sacred of walking on the streets with that color or bad skin. What you are that matters the most, what people think is merely their way of thinking which cannot change your life or the way you wish to live. There are hundreds around who are ready to give you opinions or criticize but weakness is what brings ignorance and negativity about oneself. It is up to us to prepare our self for what we have to meet, and, hopefully we shall overcome. Although slavery may have been abolished, the crippling poison of racism still persists, and the struggle still continues.
